The Morris Area Public Library Board of Trustees approved the FY11 non-resident card rate of $97 per family, effective September 1, 2010. Non-resident cardholders may register or renew their accounts before September 1 at the current rate of $93 per family. Non-resident cards may be made available for those living outside the boundaries of any library district, including the Morris Area Public Library District. The rate is based on a formula selected by the State of Illinois and determines the average property tax levied by the library for each household within the district.
