The library is located at 604 Liberty St. in downtown Morris.

 

New Hours effective June 1, 2005

Monday-Thursday: 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.

Friday: 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Sunday: 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.*

  • Mother's Day

  • Sunday preceding Memorial Day

  • Sunday preceding Labor Day

  • Corn Festival Sunday

  1. Take I-55 south to I-80 west.
  2. Take the Rt. 47 exit. (The sign says Morris/Yorkville.)
  3. Turn left (south) onto Rt. 47. Continue south on Rt. 47 for approximately one mile.
  4. At the second stoplight (North St.) after the overpass, turn right. 
  5. Go two blocks. The library is on the corner of Liberty and North Streets.

Also, the following holidays:

From the west:
  • New Year's Day

  • Memorial Day

  • Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Eve Day

  • Christmas Day

  1. Take I-80 east.
  2. Take the Rt. 47 exit. (The sign says Morris/Yorkville.)
  3. Turn right (south) onto Rt. 47. Continue south on Rt. 47 for approximately one mile.

  1. Take Rt. 47 north into Morris. (You'll cross the Illinois River Bridge.)
  2. After crossing the bridge, go north five blocks.
  3. Turn left onto North St. (There is a stoplight at North St.)
  4. Go two Blocks. The library is on the corner of Liberty and North Streets.
