The Morris Area Public Library is hosting a bus trip to Drury Lane in Oakbrook to see the musical “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” on Thursday, October 21.
The bus will leave the library at 5:00 p.m. Please arrive at the library no later than 4:45 p.m. to sign in. Bus seating is limited to 47 people, so sign up early. Cost is $65.00 per person, due by August 21. No refunds will be issued following this date. Please sign up in person at the library or call (815) 942-6880.

The Friends of the Library meet twice a year to receive committee updates, sign up for volunteer opportunities, and learn about events and happenings at the library.
Please note that this meeting has been moved from October 20 to Wednesday, November 3 at 1:00 PM.
The Finance Committee of the Morris Area Public Library District Board of Trustees will meet at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in the library conference room to discuss the FY11 Tax Levy Ordinance and supporting documents.
The Library Board of Trustees meets once a month to review the state of the library and to provide guidance and governance for library activities.
