Many tourists who visit Egypt do so as part of an organized group. But there are many advantages to traveling independently in the country. Traveling independently in Egypt presents a unique set of challenges for the independent traveler in comparison with European and North American countries. In this slide lecture, art historian Dr. Michelle Mishur will discuss her independent travels in Egypt. She will explain strategies that the experiences independent traveler can use themselves to plan a memorable trip. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
To register for this program, please call the library at (815) 942-6880.
