Local Author and Former FBI Agent, Robert Glendon

Local Author and Former FBI Agent, Robert R. Glendon, served as a Special Agent of the FBI for over 25 years, principally in the New York City and Chicago offices. After retiring from the FBI he joined a London based crisis consultancy, and in his role responded onsite to corporate and family kidnapping and extortion incidents in Central and South America, the Philippines, The United States, and Puerto Rico. He has written extensively on terrorism and has spoken at numerous FBI, law enforcement, business, and academic seminars. In his first novel, Faith of our Fathers, Judson Munro responds to a political terrorist kidnapping in New York City that evolves into a Russian Army plot to seize state power.  Munro reappears in Glendon’s second book, Case Day One, an extortion plot set in a petro-chemical plant in Texas. Book three, Let the Dead Stay Buried, introduces retired homicide detective Nick James and takes place in Moline, Illinois where Glendon was born and raised. Glendon will be available to sign copies of his books and also present an informative program.
